Overview

CodeAnt AI generates a description of the changes in a pull request and retains the developer’s original description. Publish the generated summary in the PR body or as a comment, and optionally use your repository’s Markdown template to follow your team’s format.

Configure PR descriptions

Open AI Code Review Configuration, or go to Settings → Configuration under Code Review in the dashboard. Select the organization or repository you want to configure, then find PR Description under PR Annotations. Settings save automatically. Organization settings provide defaults; repository overrides apply to the selected repository.

Use your repository’s PR template

Enable Use repository PR template to generate the summary using a Markdown file from the repository’s default branch. The default path is pull_request_template.md at the repository root. For a file such as .github/pull_request_template.md, enter its location in PR template path. CodeAnt uses the standard description format if no non-empty template can be retrieved. Template usage has no effect when PR Description is Disable.
