Overview

To enable automated pull request reviews for your self-hosted GitLab instance, you’ll need to complete two configuration steps in order.

Step 1: Set Up Control Center

First, configure the CodeAnt AI control center for your self-hosted GitLab instance: Complete Control Center Setup This step establishes the OAuth connection between CodeAnt AI and your GitLab instance.

Step 2: Configure Pull Request Reviews

Once the control center is configured, set up webhooks for pull request reviews: Configure PR Review Webhooks Note: The webhook configuration process is identical for both cloud and self-hosted GitLab instances, so you can follow the cloud documentation exactly.

What You’ll Achieve

After completing both steps, CodeAnt AI will:
  • Automatically review pull requests in your self-hosted GitLab repositories
  • Provide real-time security analysis and feedback
  • Post review comments directly on your pull requests
  • Update PR status based on review results
